THE Scare!

Monday, August 1st

My Mom usually babysits Bayley, on Saturday OR Sunday of each week. Well yesterday, (Sunday), I got a phone call about the time I was expecting Bayley home. It was my Mom. She was hysterically crying and I could hear Bayley screaming in the background!! I started panicing!! I ran, grabbed my keys, and ran out the door! Jon kept asking, "what's wrong?" "What happened??" "Is Bayley ok?" But, I literally couldn't tell him! I was too busy trying to listen to everything happening in the background, on the phone.

 I don't know how many of you heard on the news today, that a 13 yr. old boy was hit by a car while riding his scooter on Meandering Way/ Meandering Ct. (My Moms Rd)!!! The person in front of my Mom hit that little boy while coming around that blinde corner!!! My mom immediately jumped out of her SUV and ran to the boy. He was struggling to breathe so badly. The car ran over his mid section! :(  He later died at 9:00 last night. He was visiting his uncle before school started back. He is from Chester....and was going to go back home yesterday evening. :(

 I keep asking my Mom, if SHE'S ok....she held the little boys head and was talking to him until the ambulance got there. That's got to be traumatizing!! My Mom... my best friend....my hero!! 

 When I finally got Bayley back, I held her so tight and gave her a thousand kisses and hugs!!! I swore I'd Never let anything happen to her!! I pray I am always able to watch over her and protect her from all evil! I know that is not plausible bc I'm not God! But I will die trying!!!! 

 Please pray for the family that lost their 13 yr. old!!! No parent should EVER have to bury their own child!!!!
